Looking for "WEIRD" restaurants in Baltimore
So my brother in law is doing a quick fly-in tomorrow on his way from Paris to Mexico. We're planning to go to dinner... first he mentioned wanting to go someplace "cool and funky" so I threw out some suggestions like Bicycle, Pazo, Tapas Teatro, Salt, Three..., etc.... but apparently those are too "hip". He's looking for something "weird".
ummm.....
So we think he's imagining Baltimore in the early '90s, as he knew it. And honestly, I can't think of anyplace I would call "weird" where I'd want to go to dinner on a Saturday night. So this is where you come in! Readers, help?? Where can I take two Parisians for dinner on a Saturday night that would be "funky", "cool" yet "weird" and not make me cringe? He's got a lot of money thanks to the Euro, but we don't. It would be great if it were kid friendly... his 11 and 15 year old will be joining us. And the 11 year old has food allergies.
I'm sure somebody out there has something up their sleeves!
